Poetry in Songs

I have often enjoyed the poetry you can find in a song and I guess it should be considered as such, so i have added one just to see if there are any takers and would like to carry it on.
This is such a brazen kiss
I give to you my heart and lips
I tease
You bleed
Can you feed my hungry dream
Wept in pain and shaken through
Try to hide my soul from you
Deseased
In need
Ask me if I'm empty too
Opened up I'll let you in
Hold on to my broken skin
Resist the test
Recoil in jest
Taken by my only sin
Faded and black
Empty from within
Closer to reason
But never quite certain

I've always loved the imagery in this :
Across the ocean of the night
