Themes to study in Carol Ann Duffy poems?

Hi everyone.
I'm a post-graduate English literature student and I'm planning to write my thesis on Carol Ann Duffy poetry.

One of my professors introduced her poetry to me and it was love at first sight!

But I'm a bit confused about what subject to focus on.

Can it be.... subverted feminine archetypes....or recreating the love myth...or a feminine perspetive on historical male figures...or degenerate or marginal figures in her poetry?

I'll welcome and appreciate any help to draw my route in that thrilling voyage.
Thanks...

themes for post graduate carol ann duffy

hi there Isil

I think it would be good to focus on the feminist themes in World's wife and even possibly Carol as a female comedian , as she is one of the funniest women I have ever met. She has a way of turning a phrase or an idea and completely subverting it and I would love to be in your shoes writing.

Thesis

How about...

What the poems are saying to you and what they say to other people that read them, what pictures do they conjure up in your mind.

Do they mean the same thing to other people, is interpretation down to the reader?
